The Pound for Pound boxing champion and Sarangani representative Manny Pacquiao promise to help the victim of Tropical Storm "Sendong,"
Tropical Storm “Sendong” unleashed its wrath on Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, where flash floods caused massive loss of lives and damage to property, when Manny Pacquiao was celebrating his 33rd birthday in Sarangani.
Pacquiao talked to her staff, to send a relief goods and to help people in badly-hit areas of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City.
Pacquiao said "Sinabihan ko, pinapunta ko ang mga tao natin. Hindi lang sila magbibigay kundi makatulong doon, kung ano pa ang gagawin doon,"
Pacquiao's started preparing bottled water and sacks of rice to distribute to the victims of Typhoon “Sendong” ‘on December 23.
Atty. Franklin Gacal, Pacquiao's legal adviser paquiao complied with the call of Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, who asked House members to help.
Gacal said. "He immediately complied to House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte's call for all congressmen to slash P1-million from their PDAF (Priority Development Assistance Funds),"
